Salary Range: $86,000 - $121,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) to IATF 16949 standards.
• Drive problem-solving activities using methodologies like 8D, 5 Whys, and Ishikawa to identify root causes and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities for new product introductions and engineering changes.
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits to ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and customer-specific requirements.
• Develop and maintain control plans, FMEAs, and statistical process control (SPC) for manufacturing processes.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve product quality.
• Liaise with customers on quality concerns, manage customer portals, and ensure customer-specific requirements are met.

Recommended Qualifications

• Expertise in IATF 16949 standard and core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
• Minimum 3-5 years of Quality Engineering experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in advanced problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys) and root cause analysis.
• Strong understanding and application of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Measurement System Analysis (MSA).
• Certified IATF 16949 Internal Auditor with practical audit experience.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Proficiency in Minitab or other statistical analysis software.
• Experience with advanced Quality Management System (QMS) software platforms.
• Project Management experience or certification (e.g., PMP).
