Eligibility Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Eligibility and Enrollment Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid programs. This role will provide expertise in eligibility and enrollment processes, compliance requirements, and operational best practices to support healthcare programs and initiatives. Key Responsibilities: + Serve as the primary expert on Medicare and Medicaid eligibility and enrollment policies, regulations, and procedures. + Analyze and interpret federal and state guidelines to ensure compliance with program requirements. + Provide guidance and support to internal teams on eligibility and enrollment workflows, system functionality, and process improvements. + Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement solutions that enhance member enrollment accuracy and efficiency. + Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and best practices related to eligibility and enrollment. + Monitor regulatory changes and communicate impacts to business operations. + Assist in audits, quality assurance, and reporting related to eligibility and enrollment activities. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Lansing, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
