Customer Service Representative
About the Role
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join a high-volume call center team supporting healthcare and pharmacy benefit inquiries. This role involves handling inbound calls, answering questions about prior authorizations, and providing accurate information while maintaining confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle 50–100 inbound calls per day, plus follow-up calls and emails.
- Answer questions related to prior authorization, general inquiries, and confidential information.
- Enter and update information accurately across multiple systems.
- Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in all interactions.
- Participate in mandatory training and testing (average score of 90% required).
Requirements
Must Have:
- At least 1 year of recent high-volume call center experience (within the last 2–3 years).
- Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
- Typing speed of at least 30 WPM.
- Proficiency with computers and ability to navigate multiple systems.
- Stable job tenure (no jumpy resumes).
Nice to Have:
- Pharmacy Technician certification.
- Bilingual skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
