We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely collections. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to resolving account issues while fostering positive relationships with our clients.

We are looking for someone equally enthusiastic about building strong financial processes while contributing to a positive and supportive workplace culture .

Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounting, or a related field.

• Knowledge of accounting principles and best practices in AR.

• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process customer payments (checks, ACH, credit card, wire transfers, etc.) and apply them to accounts accurately.

• Prepare and send invoices to clients in a timely manner.

• Monitor customer accounts to ensure payments are received and applied correctly.

• Follow up on overdue accounts and communicate professionally with clients regarding outstanding balances.

• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly recorded.

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Collaborate with the accounting team to improve collection strategies and streamline AR processes.

• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to inquiries regarding invoices or statements.
