Inventory Control Manager | Caledonia, MI

Salary Range: $75,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation.
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust inventory control processes and procedures.
• Monitor and analyze inventory levels to optimize stock, prevent shortages, and minimize excess or obsolete material.
• Oversee the inventory management system (ERP/WMS) to ensure data integrity and system utilization.
• Lead and train inventory control personnel, fostering a culture of accuracy and efficiency.
• Generate and analyze inventory reports, providing actionable insights for production planning and purchasing.
• Collaborate with production, purchasing, and warehousing departments to streamline material flow.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in inventory management or supply chain operations, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for inventory tracking and management.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
• Demonstrated experience with inventory control best practices, including cycle counting, physical inventory, and root cause analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Proficiency with advanced data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with WMS or ERP system implementation projects.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
