Interview : Virtual phone screens via MS Teams will be conducted for candidates selected from initial resume screening. An on-site interview at the OCIT building is the next step if selected for further consideration.

Citizenship : Only US citizens or workers with green cards are being considered. No temp visas or sponsorship can be expected from Oakland County.

Location : Position is hybrid. 2 days expected in the office at Oakland County campus in Waterford, Michigan. 3 days remote.

Seeking a skilled (4+ years) Software Developer with hands-on experience in Kofax scanning solutions, Laserfiche DMS, .NET, and VB6 development to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable applications within a Microsoft-based environment.

The ideal candidate will leverage Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), and Azure DevOps to build and deploy solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams via Microsoft Teams.

Mandatory Skills

• Kofax, Laserfiche, .NET, and VB6 are hard requirements.
• Candidates lacking these four hard technical requirements will most likely not be considered.

Responsibilities :

design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable applications within a Microsoft-based environment

1. developing integrations between document management systems

2. implementing and automating scanning workflows

3. providing production support

4. troubleshooting issues with end-users and internal customers

5. supporting Laserfiche customization and enhancements

6. producing technical documentation such as program specifications, data models, and architecture diagrams.
