What your day will look like: - Leading and managing all quality-related activities for forging operations
- Reviewing production, scrap, and quality metrics to drive improvements
- Walking the forge floor to audit processes and product quality
- Collaborating with Engineering and Production to resolve quality concerns
- Communicating with customers regarding quality issues, approvals, and corrective actions
What we are looking for: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of quality leadership experience in forging, metal forming, or heavy manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of forging processes, heat treatment, and machining
- Experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or AS9100 standards
- Proficiency with quality tools such as SPC, MSA, PPAP, FMEA, APQP, and root cause analysis (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
