Location: The Arc of Oakland County, Troy, MI
General Description: The Arc of Oakland County provides Financial Management Services (FMS) to those who have chosen Self-Direction. As the FMS agent, we process payroll on behalf of the individual, assist in monitoring their budget, current Individual Plan of Service (IPOS) guidelines, and Medicaid law. Our staff works with the individual, their family, and their Core Provider supports coordinator to help them flex their budgeted dollars to further meet their needs while staying within the guidelines of the current IPOS and Medicaid. The Arc of Oakland County acts as “Payroll Agent” for people who directly employ their own staff.
Client Account Specialist Tasks:
- Monitor service authorizations and dates of services provided, time and attendance
- Verify claim submission
- Collect necessary employee certifications and documentation
- Communicate effectively with clients, guardians (employers), and their employees
- Communicate effectively with Core Provider Supports Coordinators
- Know and understand Person Center Plans, and the translation to billing authorizations
- Know and understand billing codes and rates
- Meet billing deadlines to run payroll and pay client employees timely
- Update spreadsheets, become comfortable with Excel
- Keep track of client accounts, and send monthly budgets
- Navigate email accounts in Outlook
- Office Atmosphere, some remote work flexibility
- Full Time, Monday – Friday, 9-5, Flex Schedule
Compensation: Salary $41,000 - $43,000, Insurance Benefits, Holiday/Vacation Pay
