Bookkeeper / Office Manager | DeWitt, MI
Salary Range: $47,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across DeWitt seeking Bookkeeper / Office Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll for manufacturing operations.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and assist with month-end financial closing procedures.
- Maintain general ledger, prepare financial statements, and generate management reports.
- Manage office administration, including procurement of supplies, vendor relations, and facility coordination.
- Provide administrative support to the production and management teams.
- Assist with inventory data entry, tracking, and reconciliation for raw materials and finished goods.
- Oversee expense reporting and corporate credit card reconciliation.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) for full-cycle bookkeeping, including AR, AP, GL, and bank reconciliations.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) and manage month-end close processes.
- Understanding of inventory management and basic cost accounting principles relevant to a manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills to manage office operations, supplies, and vendor relationships.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Epicor) in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with inventory management and job costing principles
- Experience supporting HR functions, such as onboarding or payroll processing
- Proficiency in advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting
