As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a utilities location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols of assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. This post requires driving as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. You will interact with staff, visitors, and contractors, responding to situations with professionalism and clear communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe for any unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious behavior within the utility location.
• Document and report any incidents, observations, or concerns according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Support emergency response efforts as directed by site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors while on patrol or performing assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver's license is required for positions that involve driving and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
