The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Source and attract qualified candidates for various manufacturing roles, including production, engineering, quality, and skilled trades.
• Conduct thorough interviews and skills assessments to evaluate candidates' technical aptitude, safety consciousness, and fit for the manufacturing environment.
• Partner closely with manufacturing plant managers and department heads to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition to offer, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for both candidates and hiring managers.
• Proactively build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill manufacturing positions.
• Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to track candidate progress, maintain accurate records, and generate recruitment reports.
• Participate in local job fairs, community outreach, and educational partnerships to promote the company as an employer of choice in manufacturing.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience recruiting for diverse roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in sourcing passive candidates using various tools and platforms.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, terminology, and technical skills required for roles.
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
• Exceptional communication, interviewing, and relationship-building skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, machinery, or shop floor environments.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish) relevant to local manufacturing workforces.
• Experience utilizing recruiting data and analytics to optimize talent acquisition strategies.
