Key Responsibilities

• Perform machine setup and changeovers according to production schedules and specifications.
• Install, adjust, and calibrate tooling, fixtures, and equipment for various manufacturing processes.
• Conduct first-piece inspections and obtain quality approval to ensure production readiness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic mechanical, electrical, or process-related issues during setup.
• Optimize machine parameters and processes to improve efficiency, quality, and reduce scrap.
• Document setup procedures, machine settings, and maintenance activities accurately.
• Adhere strictly to safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in machine setup, changeovers, and adjustments in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and demonstrated troubleshooting skills for production equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and indicators
• Knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols and quality control standards

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming or CNC machine programming.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen) or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Basic CAD software proficiency for fixture design or drawing interpretation.
• Ability to train or mentor junior technicians.
