Industrial Electrician
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Electrician to join our team at our facility in Erie, MI, 48133. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and improving our electrical systems, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand electrical systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship program preferred.
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
