Salary Range: $48,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine calibrations on a wide range of manufacturing equipment and instrumentation.
• Document calibration results accurately, maintain detailed records, and generate calibration certificates.
• Troubleshoot, adjust, and make minor repairs to equipment that fails calibration standards.
• Manage and maintain calibration standards and reference equipment, ensuring their traceability to national standards.
• Adhere strictly to established calibration procedures, quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 17025), and safety protocols.
• Identify and report out-of-tolerance conditions, initiating corrective actions and follow-up as necessary.
• Assist in the development, review, and improvement of calibration procedures and methodologies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Metrology, Electronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in an industrial or laboratory calibration environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of calibration principles, measurement uncertainty, and relevant quality standards (e.g., ISO 17025).
• Proficiency with a wide range of test and measurement equipment and calibration software.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills for data interpretation and problem-solving.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced metrology equipment such as CMMs, optical comparators, or vision systems.
• Knowledge of ISO 17025, GMP, or FDA regulations relevant to calibration.
• Proficiency with calibration management software (e.g., Beamex, IndySoft, Blue Mountain RAM).
• Strong electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills.
