Director of Finance North America
TCR Group, the global leader in Airport Ground Support Equipment services, is looking for a Director of Finance to lead our North American finance function, ideally based in Detroit (Taylor), Michigan.
This is a senior leadership role with broad scope and visibility across the United States and Canada. You will play a key role in strengthening finance as a true strategic partner to the business, supporting the continued growth and expansion of our North American operations.
Working closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team, you will help shape financial strategy, improve performance, and build a finance organisation that can scale with the business.

- Lead the finance function across multiple entities in the United States and Canada, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
- Drive budgeting and forecasting processes, providing clear insights to support strategic decision making.
- Translate financial performance into clear, actionable insights that guide business decisions.
- Act as a trusted partner to senior leadership and operational teams, supporting performance, efficiency, and growth.
- Strengthen financial governance, risk management, and internal controls across the region.
- Oversee tax, audit, and regulatory matters, ensuring full compliance with local requirements.
- Support growth initiatives, including expansion into new regions and potential mergers and acquisitions.
- Build, lead, and develop a high performing finance team across North America.
- Collaborate closely with the global finance team to ensure alignment and consistency.

What we are looking for
- A proven finance leader with experience in complex, multi entity environments.
- Strong leadership presence, able to build credibility quickly and guide a growing organisation.
- Excellent communicator who translates financial data into clear, relevant, and actionable insights.
- Proven ability to partner with and influence senior stakeholders and operational teams.
- Track record of building and developing high performing teams.
- Hands on mindset, balancing strategic priorities with operational execution.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or similar.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- CPA or CMA qualification preferred.
- Experience in a fast growing or international environment is a strong plus.

- The pay range for this position is $175-$200K base + 15% bonus based on experience and qualifications
