Logistics Account Executive
- Experience:
- Proven experience in cradle-to-grave freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation management, with a deep understanding of the trucking industry including regulations and operational procedures. (REQUIRED)
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively broker deals between shippers and carriers, and to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Proficiency in the use of freight brokerage software and transportation management systems to efficiently track shipments, manage carrier networks, and optimize freight operations.
- Ability to analyze market trends and data to identify business opportunities, set competitive rates, and develop strategic plans to increase profitability.
- Aptitude for solving complex logistical problems, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- High school degree required; BA or Associate degree preferred
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to establish immediate relationship rapport
- Tolerance to ambiguity and the ability to overcome barriers
- Able to work within a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple responsibilities
- Honest, strong work ethic, resourceful and possess effective negotiation skills
- Proficient in basic computer skills
- College degree is preferred, but not required as we have successful sales reps without it
- Develop YOUR business within our business
- Connect and cultivate relationships with customers and carriers to move freight
- Be the direct contact to manage and make decisions on your business within a face-paced environment
- Create innovative solutions for your customers through our portfolio of service offerings.
- Work together with other entrepreneurial-minded individuals in this LEGACY team
- Collaborate with upper management in planning for department goals, growth and initiatives.
- Identify new and existing customers strategically through planned daily solicitation via cold calling, email, social media, referrals, and other networking opportunities.
- Connect and build immediate rapport with individuals over the phone
- Use our comprehensive list of supply chain services to meet the needs of customer decision makers.
- Manage the successful movement of customer freight for customers through our network of carriers.
- Be the main contact between customer, carrier, shipper and receiver.
- Exemplify proactive and persistent communication with your customers and carriers.

- Able to work within a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple responsibilities
- Ability to handle conflict and provide insightful resolution with the mindset to prevent future issues

- Freight Brokerage Sales experienced preferred
