Salary Range: $82,000 - $127,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
• Ensure strict compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular EHS risk assessments, audits, and inspections, driving corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead and deliver EHS training initiatives for all employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Investigate all EHS incidents, accidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing effective preventative measures.
• Manage hazardous waste programs, chemical inventories, and environmental permitting requirements.
• Foster a proactive safety culture through continuous improvement and employee engagement.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related science/engineering field.
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in EHS roles, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership capacity within a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations (OSHA, EPA, NFPA, etc.) and industry best practices.
• Proven experience developing, implementing, and managing EHS programs and management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and train at all levels of an organization.
• Professional EHS certification (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) is highly preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• ISO 14001/45001 Lead Auditor certification
• Proficiency with EHS management software platforms (e.g., Gensuite, Intelex)
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with sustainability initiatives or ESG reporting
