Description:

The Hot Production Cook is responsible for the daily execution of service, production tasks and maintenance of all department revenue areas. They must use solid cooking fundamentals and techniques and adhere to all sanitation guidelines. As a Hot Production Cook, you are responsible for providing exceptional Guest Service.

Able to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Minimum 2 years cooking experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Able to stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break.

Ability to bend and stoop to grasp objects, climb ladders, lift loads, up to 50 lbs. unassisted, push and pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs. unassisted.

What you will do:

Execute daily production for both cold and hot programs as assigned by the Production Lead or Team Leader, including: packaged sandwiches, pizzas, and salads; composed salads and dips; Buddha bowls, bentos, and parfaits; packaged soups and prepared meal kits; hot soups; rotisserie chickens; pizza and flatbread prep; pot pies and entrées; roasted vegetables and staple sides; packaged hot meals and large-batch recipes.

Open, stock, and maintain all production lines (cold cases and hot bars), ensuring food is fresh, properly rotated, labeled, and fully stocked with visually appealing displays.

Follow all recipes and portion guidelines to deliver consistent quality and support cost control.

Maintain strict adherence to safe food handling, sanitation, labeling, and rotation protocols at all times.

Assist with cleaning, restocking, and maintaining equipment, coolers, prep areas, and storage spaces.

Provide courteous, professional Guest Service and support other areas of the Prepared Foods Department as needed.

Communicate clearly and professionally with Guests, Team Members, leadership, and support departments.

Uphold all Plum Market policies, procedures, and standard operating practices.

Compensation details: 18-20 Hourly Wage
