Salary Range: $80,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and ergonomic evaluations to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
• Lead incident investigations, including root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Design and deliver EHS training programs for all employees, fostering a strong safety culture.
• Perform regular EHS audits and inspections to ensure compliance, identify deficiencies, and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage environmental permits, waste management programs, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Develop and maintain emergency preparedness and response plans, including drills and training.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related scientific field
• Professional EHS certification (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM, ASP)
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations
• Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage EHS programs and drive continuous improvement in safety culture

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience implementing and maintaining EHS Management Systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Proficiency with EHS software platforms and data analytics for performance tracking.
• Demonstrated experience integrating EHS initiatives with operational excellence or lean manufacturing programs.
• Certified as an ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 Lead Auditor.
