Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate various CNC machines, including Davenport, Mazak, and Haas, among others. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and performing tool changes on machines. Depending on skill level, they may also be involved in programming and editing machine operations. We provide comprehensive training and aim to develop our machinists into future supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage multiple CNC machines.
• Set up machines and perform tool changes.
• Read gauges accurately and troubleshoot machine issues.
• Program and edit CNC machines, depending on skill level.
• Train and assist team members, with potential for supervisory roles.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read gauges.
• Experience in machine setup, tool changes, and tear downs.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Diploma is required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Davenport, Haas, Mazak, mills, and lathes is a plus.

Work Environment

Our facility operates on a climate-controlled environment with openings on the 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM and the 3rd shift from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Once trained, you will operate machines independently within a supportive team.

This is a Permanent position based out of Otsego, MI.

The pay range for this position is $46696.00 - $50128.00/yr.

All Machinists will come in at 22.45/hr plus a 1.50 shift premium to put them at 23.95. After 6 months the rate goes up to 24.10 plus a 1.50 shift premium to put them at 25.60. They will also have more opportunities in the future to move into

This is a fully onsite position in Otsego,MI.

This position is anticipated to close on Dec 29, 2025.
