Travel LTAC RN – Battle Creek, MI
Assignment: 13 weeks, ASAP start, 48 hrs/week, Days

HumanEdge is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a long-term acute care (LTAC) facility in Battle Creek, MI. This travel role involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care while supervising LPNs, CNAs, and new staff.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments within 8 hours of admission and develop individualized care plans.

• Provide and document direct patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).

• Educate patients and families to support recovery and discharge planning from day one.

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and ensure continuity of care.

• Lead and supervise ancillary nursing personnel, delegating appropriately.

• Maintain patient and staff safety, adhering to infection control and workplace safety protocols.

• Serve as Charge RN when assigned.

• Participate in unit team building and maintain effective communication with leadership.

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state-specific or compact).

• Previous LTAC, med-surg, or critical care experience preferred.

• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Schedule: 48 hours/week, day shift, 13-week contract starting ASAP.
