Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Builder to expertly read blueprints, lay out materials, ensure accurate alignment, and weld components together. The role involves installing hydraulic pumps and lines, as well as pneumatic lines, to construct stamping press feeding equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to lay out materials accurately.
• Align materials correctly for welding and assembly.
• Perform welding tasks, specifically MIG welding of 1/2" steel.
• Install hydraulic and pneumatic lines and pumps.
• Build and assemble stamping press feeding equipment.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in blueprint reading.
• Experience with machine building for over 5 years.
• Skill in MIG welding 1/2" steel.
• Competence in fabrication, CNC, milling, and tooling.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic installation or troubleshooting.
• Possession of a tool box.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Troy, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
