Job Summary:

The CDL A - Local Truck Driver is responsible for working as a valued member of the shipping and receiving operations by delivering our products directly to local customers in a timely and safe manner. This driver role will be responsible for trailer yard management at our Marne location. Unique to this driver position will be added administrative responsibilities related to logistics.

A Sample of the Role:

• Transport and deliver freight over the road in a safe, efficient, timely, and legal manner.
• Hook and unhook trailers; secure freight; installed and remove tire chains as needed due to weather.
• Load and unload assist, perform lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying freight. Equipped with a powered pallet jack.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain records required under state and federal laws and regulations.
• Ensure that all operations are in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
• Perform routine inspection and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects/repairs to Company personnel.
• Represent the Company and the trucking industry in a professional manner.
• Deliver product to our 5 Daily Deals Stores.
• Routes throughout Michigan with day runs to Indiana & Ohio.

Your Natural Ingredients to Win:

• Valid CDL-A
• Two years of previous tractor/trailer driving experience
• Knowledge of all applicable DOT Regulations and Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Must be able to work in varying weather conditions (hot & cold)
