Our client is seeking a Phlebotomist to work a contracted position in Jackson, MI.

This position starts as an initial 13-week contract with the possibility of an extension or direct offer and offers a pay rate of $19.00/hour.

Shift Details: Every other weekend required, Open to block scheduling but not preferred, 5-8's 4a-1230p, 5a-130p, or 230p-11p

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Support

• Perform routine laboratory activities such as patient receiving, venipuncture, and other related duties including lab clinical functions

Front Office & Patient Support

• Computer data entry.

Requirements

• One year experience required.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Must have prior experience with LIS (Lab information system) experience
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Michigan Driver's license.

Preferred Certification & Licensure:

• Previous computer experiences.
• Phlebotomy Cert strongly preferred
• May need to learn specimen receiving, if that experience is not already present.
