Desktop / PC Depot Support Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Desktop / PC Depot Support Engineer for a Contract with a client in Van Buren Township, MI. You will perform device imaging and deployment while handling break‑fix support and managing depot inventory operations.

Rate Range: $30/hour to $34/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Desktop / PC Depot Support Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Perform system imaging and device deployment using enterprise tools such as SCCM, MDT, or Intune.

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11, hardware components, and standard enterprise applications for end users.

• Handle break‑fix support, including walk‑in and ticket‑based hardware/software issues, and coordinate vendor repairs with OEMs.

• Manage depot operations, including inventory tracking, spare parts management, asset tagging, device refresh, and decommissioning.

• Support users with login issues, network connectivity, printers, and other end‑user technologies.

• Maintain compliance with security standards (encryption, antivirus, patching) and ensure accurate documentation within IT asset management and ticketing systems.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 8–10 years of experience in desktop support, IT depot operations, or end‑user computing environments.

• Strong hands‑on expertise with Windows 10/11, hardware troubleshooting, imaging tools (SCCM/MDT/Intune), and L2/L3 support as required by the client.

• Experience with asset management, device lifecycle operations, and vendor coordination (Dell/HP/Lenovo) per client expectations.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $34.00 per hour
