Who You Are:
We are currently searching for a Key Account Manager (KAM) to join our sales and business development team who will be a culture champion and will relentlessly pursue superior customer service. Due to our exciting growth, we are seeking an additional Key Account Manager who will report directly to the Business Development Director and will offer a unique blend of both transformational and transactional relationship management in all areas of service to our customers[1] [EW2] . It’s perfect for the customer service account strategist who is passionate about people and business development, loves to connect with customers, roll up their sleeves, and know the customers personally.
In this role, you will be able to jump in and make an immediate impact. Specifically, you will:
- First and foremost, resonate with our mission, vision and values as an organization and foster a culture of accountability within our workforce that reflects these values.
- Utilize your 3+ years of account management or customer services experience, along with your Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; proven track record of building and maintaining internal and external customer relationships at all levels of an organization; strong understanding of contractual obligations, customer policies, and statement of work (SOW) agreements; ability to develop strategic plans for customer accounts to expand opportunities and drive mutual success to further the company’s strategic objectives.
- Bring business acumen, a drive for results, and a growth mindset to the role to develop and execute organizational strategies.
- Working collaboratively with internal teams (operations, service technicians, etc.) the Key Account Manager creates, strengthens, and maintains long-term relationships with customers by serving as the primary point of contact and escalation of service-related issues, a trusted advisor, and an advocate; proactively exceeding customer service expectations and resolving concerns quickly and effectively with minimal service disruption for all designated customers.
- Conducts regular check-ins and business reviews with customers to assess performance and identify improvement areas.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency by analyzing customer feedback and internal processes to improve service delivery and enhance the customer experience.
- Ensures all customer contracts, agreements, statements of work, and policies are adhered to with accuracy and consistency.
- Travel required about 25%
