Responsibilities
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement a plan of care; provide bedside nursing care and carry out medical orders; monitor patient status and respond to changes.
- Delegate to and supervise Nurse Assistants, Patient Care Associates, and other support staff; coordinate tasks to ensure safe, effective care delivery; participate in discharge/transfer planning.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan; participate in rounds and patient conferences; communicate with patients and families; provide ongoing education for patients and families.
- Lead the care team to ensure proper patient placement and assignment of tasks; mentor new employees and students; promote evidence-based practice.
- Ensure patient safety and quality of care through accurate documentation, adherence to infection control practices, and participation in continuous improvement efforts.
- Maintain professional growth through available educational opportunities and in-hospital or community programs.

Requirements
- Active Michigan RN license
- ICU experience 2+ years (required)
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (required)
- Comfortable floating to ED and Step-Down units (required)
- Start date and shift requirements as listed; ability to work 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- Nice-to-have: TCAR, TNCC, CCRN, SCRN (documentation requested)
- Travel experience preferred
- Education: not specified in notes; RN licensure sufficient
