Floating Teller
- Provides accurate, courteous, and timely professional service to existing and prospective members.
- Process deposits to checking or savings accounts and disburses cash or check withdrawals; process checks and other transactions.
- Provides money orders, credit card cash advances, receives loan payments and service charge payments for services.
- Process transfers between accounts and automatic distribution forms, recording all transactions according to member's request
- Operates on‑line teller terminal and accurately records amounts received and prepares reports of transactions.
- Assist members by providing information and answering questions about the credit union services and requirements/eligibility.
- Analyze member activity and cross sell other products and services to fit member needs.
- High school diploma or GED required. Some college level coursework preferred.
- Previous cash handling or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with financial systems.
- Professional business-like appearance.
- Must have a strong interest in giving back to the community.
- A passion for helping others.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- A positive team-oriented attitude.
