Our customer, a Tier 1 Automotive Supplier with headquarters in Redford, MI and a vehicle fitting facility in Toledo, OH, specializes in manufacturing custom parts, example: racks and carts, for the automotive, energy, and broader manufacturing industries. They are seeking a Sales Representative with industry knowledge and experience to maintain existing accounts, expand current relationships, and drive new business opportunities. This role involves leveraging warm leads, re?engaging existing customers, and pursuing cold calls while collaborating closely with management, higher leadership and the fabrication team to align customer requirements with company capabilities. The ideal candidate will develop sales strategies, provide technical assistance to clients, and continuously grow their expertise in company services to maximize revenue and support long?term growth.
Years of Experience: 5 years professional sales experience - preferably in the automotive industry
Top Required Skills:

• Ideally: Fabrication Sales, Fabrication industry knowledge, but not limited to Automotive, Manufacturing, Food and Beverage, or any other relevant sales experience
• Experience working with or for an automotive manufacturer in a position directly relating to fabrication services
• Professional experience “hunting” for new business, while also “farming” existing relationships and maintaining those customer expectations
• Highly motivated, focused, and ambitious; personality appropriate for consultative selling
• Strong computer knowledge – Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Need to be able to track sales production through Excel and be proficient in presentation skills utilizing the Microsoft Suite of Products.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Secondary (Nice to Have) Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree of any kind

Training Hours : 8am – 5pm, Monday - Friday
Working Hours: 8am – 5pm, Monday - Friday
Work Environment : Onsite 5 days a week in Redford, MI
