Salary Range: $80,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design, program, and implement PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation and controls-related production issues to minimize downtime.
• Develop and maintain electrical schematics, control system documentation, and standard operating procedures.
• Optimize existing control systems and implement new technologies to improve process efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure all control systems comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Specify, select, and procure control components, sensors, and instrumentation.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting PLCs (e.g., Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and HMI/SCADA systems.
• Strong experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP).
• Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and optimize motion control systems, servo drives, and industrial robotics.
• Solid understanding of electrical control panel design, wiring diagrams, and industrial safety standards.
• Experience with vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) and data acquisition methods.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
• Proficiency in high-level programming languages (e.g., Python, C#) for data acquisition, analysis, or custom applications.
• Familiarity with MES/MOM systems and data integration from the plant floor to enterprise level.
• Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity best practices for OT environments.
