10-4 Logistics USA seeks full-time W-2 Class A CDL drivers in the Detroit, MI area, including recent CDL school graduates and candidates with limited professional driving experience. Positions are available across OTR, regional, and dedicated fleets, primarily operating east of I-35. • Equipment, freight, and schedule:
  • Assigned late-model tractors (2024–2025 Freightliner or Kenworth).
  • Primarily no-touch dry van freight; approximately 70% drop-and-hook.
  • OTR, regional, and dedicated assignments with reliable home time: weekly or every-other-week depending on fleet.
• Training program (for eligible recent graduates):
  • Fully paid three- to five-week training program for candidates who have completed at least 120 hours of CDL instruction.
  • Training curriculum includes safe tractor-trailer operation, ELD use, trip reporting, pre-trip/post-trip inspections, equipment securement, and company procedures.
  • Progress is evaluated through supervised driving and competency assessments prior to independent assignments.
• Primary responsibilities:
  • Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations, state laws, and company policies.
  • Complete scheduled pickups and deliveries, maintaining on-time performance across assigned routes.
  • Maintain accurate ELD logs, trip reports, and DVIRs.
  • Perform and document daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensure proper equipment securement.
  • Follow company procedures regarding cargo handling, reporting of defects or incidents, and communications with dispatch.
