Salary Range: $78,000 - $123,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs and policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct regular EHS risk assessments, inspections, and audits to identify hazards and ensure control measures are effective.
• Lead incident investigations, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Design and deliver EHS training programs for all employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Manage the facility's emergency preparedness and response plans.
• Monitor and report EHS performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA).

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of progressive EHS experience, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in OSHA, EPA, and other federal, state, and local EHS regulations applicable to manufacturing operations.
• Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage comprehensive EHS programs, conduct risk assessments, and lead incident investigations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and training skills, with the ability to influence a safety-first culture.
• Professional EHS certification (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) highly preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation.
• Experience implementing or auditing ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 management systems.
• Proficiency with EHS management software platforms and data analytics for trend identification.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification/experience for process improvement in EHS.
• Multi-site EHS management experience within a manufacturing organization.
