Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom settings
• Provide individualized or small-group support as guided by teachers and school staff
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and active participation in class activities
• Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) when applicable
• Support mobility, supervision, and personal care needs as required
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Completion of TB test per district requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as necessary
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain them prior to start

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT techniques is a plus but not mandatory
• Reliable, patient, and a collaborative team approach
