Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Mount Morris, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech and media location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access activity with professionalism and care. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology and media location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing updates with site contacts when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Support day-to-day operations by assisting with alarms, disturbances, and/or after-hours activity while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
