Salary Range: $81,000 - $126,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations and company policies.
• Develop, implement, and manage EHS programs, policies, and procedures for manufacturing operations.
• Conduct regular EHS risk assessments, inspections, and audits, implementing corrective and preventative actions.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and monitor the effectiveness of corrective measures.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs for all employees.
• Manage hazardous waste, air emissions, and wastewater discharge in accordance with environmental permits.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety performance and environmental sustainability.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS), Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• 7+ years of progressive EHS experience, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and relevant state/local EHS regulations and standards.
• Proven experience developing, implementing, and managing EHS management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and core EHS programs.
• Professional EHS certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM).

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation.
• Experience integrating EHS principles with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency with advanced EHS management software platforms or EHS data analytics.
• Demonstrated experience managing EHS in a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience with sustainability initiatives or ESG reporting.
