Salary Range: $48,000 - $74,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across office and production environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with specialized manufacturing software (e.g., MES, SCADA integrations) and shop floor equipment.
• Diagnose and repair industrial PCs, barcode scanners, label printers, and other production floor IT peripherals.
• Assist with network connectivity issues impacting critical production systems and data collection devices.
• Document support requests, resolutions, and contribute to the IT knowledge base for common manufacturing-related problems.
• Manage and track IT asset inventory, including hardware deployed on the production floor.
• Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate IT teams or external vendors, ensuring minimal disruption to manufacturing operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware (PCs, peripherals, industrial scanners/printers), software (Windows OS, MS Office, manufacturing-specific applications), and basic network connectivity.
• Familiarity with IT systems common in manufacturing environments, such as ERP, MES, or SCADA applications.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical production staff.
• Experience with IT service management (ITSM) software for incident tracking, resolution, and knowledge base utilization.
• Ability to prioritize and resolve technical issues efficiently in a fast-paced production environment to minimize operational downtime.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience supporting ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or MES software.
• Familiarity with industrial hardware (e.g., PLCs, HMIs, industrial PCs) or OT networks.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and their IT/OT dependencies.
• Experience with ruggedized mobile devices or shop floor equipment.
• Awareness of manufacturing safety protocols and practices.
