Gerrit's Appliance is a family-owned, local business that has been providing outstanding value and service to our customers for 77 years! With two locations in the Grand Rapids area, we offer the largest and latest selections of appliances and grills in the area. Most importantly, we provide full delivery and professional installation services, and manage our own in-house parts and service departments.

As the face ofGerrits Appliance, you'll play a key role on our delivery and installation team at ourWyominglocation. As aDelivery & Installation Specialist, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Work as a team, sharing equal parts of the workload
• Safely deliver appliances and load/unload trucks
• Respect, protect, and thoroughly clean up customer homes
• Remove old appliance(s)
• Move appliances into homes with superior care and unpack appliances
• Hook up appliances to water lines, gas lines, venting material, and/or electrical connections
• Maintain vehicles, supplies, and tools, keeping them clean, organized, and secure at all times

Gerrits looks for Delivery & Installation Specialists who have the following:

• High School Graduate and at least 18 years old
• Knowledge and experience using hand and power tools
• Possess and maintain a valid drivers license with a safe driving record
• Exceptional customer service skills and friendly personality
• Excellent safety record as well as commitment to safety and quality
• Ability to move into tight spaces and up and down stairways
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry 100 pounds
• Ability to exercise sound judgment skills and solve problems
• Strong attention to detail
• Positive attitude and enjoys working with people
• Chauffeur/CDL License preferred
