Fire Alarm Service Technician

Responsibilities:
- Test, service and maintain fire alarm, CCTV, card access, and intrusion systems in accordance with applicable NFPA and NEC codes with working knowledge of system controls, alarm panels, devices, and components.
- Understanding of system schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Troubleshoot and repair deficiencies.
- Communicate with internal and external customers in a professional manner.
- Proper use and operation of tools required to complete the appointment.
- Complete service calls and/or inspections as scheduled in a timely manner.
- On-call rotation with other technicians to handle emergency service.
- Ensure company provided vehicle is clean and well maintained as required by company policies.
- Ensure that all assigned tools are safeguarded and maintained.
Qualifications:
- Hight School Diploma or equivalent required.
- NICET II and/or state required certification required (FAST).
- Minimum 2 years experience inspecting, servicing and/or installing fire alarm systems required.
- 2 years experience with Intrusion, CCTV, Card Access preferred
- Must be able to work alone and as part of a team.
- Must have mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to operate a computer, tablet and read electronic blueprints required.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $36.00 per hour
Schedule: 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday
