Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery
Payrate: 57.00 an hour
Location: , West Bloomfield, MI
Department: Labor and Delivery
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Candidates must be able to work 3x12-hour shifts)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for Labor & Delivery . The RN will provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of high-quality patient care in a fast-paced L&D environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient care.
- Educate and support patients and their families throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
- Communicate critical patient/family information effectively to the healthcare team.
- Identify and address variances from patient goals, implementing solutions to improve care outcomes.
- Apply clinical knowledge and analytical skills to formulate effective nursing care plans.
- Deliver a wide range of professional nursing services with professionalism and empathy.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing .
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (required; candidates without these will be rejected).
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience , including postpartum care.
