Mig Welder Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $22.00 to $26.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 04:30pm )

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in MIG welding processes, capable of interpreting blueprints, and dedicated to producing high-quality welds in a fast-paced shop environment. This position offers a consistent daytime schedule.

**Key Responsibilities:***

Set up and operate MIG welding equipment to join metal parts according to specifications.

* Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings accurately.

* Select proper welding materials, wire, and settings based on metal type and thickness.

* Perform tack welds and full welds on steel, aluminum, or other metals.

* Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and compliance with industry standards.

* Grind, clean, and prepare surfaces thoroughly before and after welding operations.

* Measure and cut materials to required dimensions using various hand tools or machinery.

* Maintain welding equipment and perform routine preventive maintenance tasks.

This position operates within a shop environment.

Mig Welder Qualifications:

**Required Skills & Qualifications:***

Proven expertise in MIG welding techniques.

* Proficiency in blueprint reading.

* Experience welding steel and aluminum.

* Skilled in using measurement tools such as tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
