Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for raw materials, components, and MRO items.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and optimize value.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance, and compliance with quality and delivery standards.
• Collaborate with production and planning to optimize inventory levels and ensure material availability.
• Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives through value analysis and alternative sourcing.
• Mitigate supply chain risks related to lead times, quality, and supplier stability.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the purchasing team to enhance departmental effectiveness.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5-7 years of progressive experience in purchasing or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor negotiation, and contract management.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain analytical tools.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials planning, and quality standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Proficiency with advanced data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for spend analysis and market insights
• Experience with international sourcing and global supply chain management
