Job Description

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Sturgis, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post includes mobile patrol responsibilities for professionals with a valid driver’s license. Guided by a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will support daily operations with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including hallways, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter spaces, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and staff activity in support of location protocols, offering directions and assistance while reporting security-related issues and/or maintenance concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
