Calypso CMM Programmer

With over 30 CMMs across the facility and an urgent need for deep Zeiss programming knowledge, your expertise will directly impact throughput, compliance, and product performance.
What Youll Do:

Develop and optimize Zeiss Calypso programs for complex machined and forged parts

Drive first-article, in-process, and final inspection routines across multiple lines
-
Interpret GD&T-heavy prints with theoretical and non-standard datums
-
Perform advanced dimensional analysis and troubleshooting

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure measurement strategies align with production and engineering goals

Mentor junior CMM users and support triage-level troubleshooting with OEM partners
What Youll Need:
-
2+ years of hands-on experience programming with Zeiss Calypso software
-
Deep familiarity with CMM inspection of forged and/or machined components
-
Ability to navigate and interpret complex GD&T, including theoretical dimensions

Experience managing multiple inspection routines and adapting programs for part revisions

Solid understanding of shop floor inspection workflows and manufacturing processes
Whats Preferred:

Background in aerospace or medical device environments

Exposure to tooling or die inspection

Comfort supporting a high-volume, high-complexity CMM lab

Experience coordinating with quality engineering or CNC teams for measurement strategies
