Job Summary:

We are seeking a Mechanic to join our team. The Mechanic is responsible for equipment maintenance, preventative maintenance, record keeping, and road maintenance to the club. Ideal candidates should have proven experience as a mechanic, small engine technician, or equipment maintenance technician. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all club vehicles, golf carts, tractors, mowers, and small-engine equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and complete timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules for all equipment and machinery.
• Inspect equipment for safety issues and ensure compliance with club standards and operational policies.
• Maintain an organized workshop, inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
• Road Maintenance, plowing, grating, as needed
• Record all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage.
• Assist with seasonal preparation including snow removal equipment, and off-season storage.
• Ensure all equipment is clean, fueled, and prepared for daily use by staff.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a secure, hazard-free work environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a mechanic, small-engine technician, or equipment maintenance technician
• Strong knowledge of gasoline and diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and general mechanical repair.
• Ability to diagnose equipment problems quickly and accurately.
• Experience with golf course, landscaping, or recreational equipment is a plus.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying outdoor conditions as needed.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple departments.
