Job Overview
We are currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst (Americas FP&A) to join our team in Holland, MI. This position will be eligible for a flexible work schedule, which allows for work from home 1 day a week.
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will:
Develop, implement, and maintain the financial plans and policies of the organization. Establishes fiscal controls, prepares financial reports, maintains relations with investment and banking communities, advises management of financial affairs and assists in long-range planning. This role works with both Finance and other functional groups to assist with financial planning (budgeting, forecasting) and reporting, particularly SG&A.
Essential Functions
- Identify and implement process improvements within the finance/accounting function, leveraging technology and best practices.
- Stay informed about emerging accounting and finance trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Mentor, train and provide guidance to Finance members on processes, standard of work and continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders within the Finance department and throughout the organization to identify needs and manage a project to address those needs to completion.
- Participate in the development and execution of company financial initiatives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders in the organization. Conduct complex financial analysis, develop financial models, and provide recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
- Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
- Performs other duties within scope as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent area of study.
- Education Equivalency:
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent area of study plus 2 years related experience in Accounting or Finance roles, or
- High school diploma plus 4 years related experience in Accounting or Finance roles.
Experience:
- 5 years related experience in Accounting or Finance roles with a Bachelor's degree or,
- 3 years related experience in Accounting or Finance roles with a Master's degree.
- Equivalent Military experience.
Additionally:
- Ability to work in Holland, MI, without relocation assistance.
- Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience partnering with functional business leaders.
- Involvement in SG&A or CapEx planning.
- Proficient in Excel.
