Pay: $32.09Length: ASAP through April 2026—with possibility of extension
Schedule: Monday through Thursday 830a-530p
About the Role
We’re looking for an organized and motivated Human Resources Generalist to join our Talent Engagement team on a contract through April 2026 . In this role, you’ll support HR operations including applicant tracking, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the applicant tracking system ( NEOED ) for recruitment, preboarding, and onboarding activities.
- Partner with the Student Financial Resources and Scholarship (SFRS) department to coordinate student employment hiring and documentation.
- Provide email and phone support to candidates with questions or system access issues.
- Assist with closing recruitments and managing HR email inbox inquiries.
- Respond to employment verification requests from external organizations.
- Support HR events such as New Employee Orientation , professional development sessions, and employee recognition programs.
- Update standard operating procedures and assist with reviewing background checks as needed.
- Perform additional HR-related projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree or higher (or equivalent education).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in human resources, with experience in recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, or HRIS systems.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with applicant tracking systems — NEOED preferred .
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Exceptional organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and maintain confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.
