Salary Range: $81,000 - $126,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations and company policies.
• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, policies, and procedures specific to manufacturing operations.
• Conduct regular EHS risk assessments, inspections, and audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Manage incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the implementation of preventative measures.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for all employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Monitor EHS performance metrics, prepare reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee emergency preparedness and response plans, including drills and equipment maintenance.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related scientific/technical field.
• 7+ years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
• Proven experience developing, implementing, and managing EHS management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Professional certification such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, training, and incident investigation skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience implementing and maintaining ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 management systems.
• Proven experience applying Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen) to EHS processes.
• Proficiency with EHS management software platforms (e.g., Intelex, Cority, Sphera).
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop site emergency response teams.
