Position Summary:

Leila is seeking a poised, professional, and friendly Fine Dining Host to be the first point of contact for our guests. The ideal candidate is an individual who embodies hospitality, possesses a strong sense of urgency, and can maintain composure in a fast-paced, high-end environment. As the "face" of our restaurant, your ability to make a positive and lasting first impression is paramount.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet and welcome all guests upon arrival.
• Efficiently manage reservations and walk-in seating using our reservation system.
• Strategically seat guests in a manner that balances server sections and optimizes the dining room flow.
• Answer phone calls with professionalism and provide accurate information about the restaurant, menu, and special events.
• Assist in managing the waitlist and notifying guests when their table is ready.
• Collaborate with the management team and servers to ensure seamless communication and a smooth dining experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand and front entrance area.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with grace and a solution-oriented attitude.
• Provide a fond farewell to departing guests and thank them for dining with us.
• Assist with other duties as needed to support the overall operation of the restaurant.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a host or in a similar guest-facing role, preferably in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• A professional and polished appearance with a warm, inviting demeanor.
• Ability to remain calm, organized, and focused under pressure.
• Familiarity with Resy is a plus.
• Strong multi-tasking skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• A passion for hospitality and a genuine desire to provide outstanding service.
• MUST be available to work Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday nights
