Wage Information:

Between $79,000 and $94,000 annually, this is contingent upon candidate location at time of offer.

Shape Technologies Group is looking for a Copywrite/Content Marketing Specialist to join our creative team. This role will require a high level of creativity and an ability to develop engaging marketing content to support our sales and marketing efforts. You will report to the Marketing Manager and collaborate with multiple stakeholders and designers to concept, write and develop high impact content.

This role requires strategic thinking and brand storytelling acumen. The Copywrite/Content Marketing Specialist will be an excellent writer with a passion for words and have a strong attention to detail . Portfolio of published content is required to be considered for this opportunity.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Write original copy and edit content for a wide range of marketing materials including customer success stories, infographics, press releases, videos, website content, blogs, social media, catalogs, packaging, and other marketing assets.
• Ability to present creative concepts and communicate messaging.
• Amend, revise, and redevelop copy in response to feedback from stakeholders.
• Research and analyze the target audience to ensure that the copy is engaging, informative, and persuasive.
• Write clear, concise, and compelling copy that conveys the intended message and motivates the reader to act.
• Develop and maintain a clear understanding of each brand's tone, style, and voice, and ensure that all copy aligns with the brand's messaging.
• Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, grammar, and style consistency, and make revisions as necessary.
• Update, optimize, and repurpose existing content for improvement and new audiences.
• Lead the content program and repository to ensure ease of access and maximum use of materials by the individual brands.
• Participate in project team meetings and meet deadlines as determined by project schedule.
• Collaborate with graphic design team to create engaging, informative, and high-quality content that supports business strategies.

Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to collaborate and work independently to develop content and concepts.
• Strong portfolio of print and digital ads, infographics, packaging, and other creative materials that demonstrate strong marketing skills.
• Knowledge of content marketing best practices
• Strong written, grammatical, and proofreading skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
• Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and time-management skills
• Knowledge of SEO basics
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.

Education and Experience

• 5 or more years of copywriting and editing experience, preferably in a marketing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, or related field
