Salary Range: $85,000 - $130,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations and company policies.
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
• Identify and assess EHS risks and hazards, implementing effective control measures to mitigate them.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation for all EHS-related incidents.
• Design and deliver EHS training programs for all employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Conduct regular EHS audits, inspections, and assessments to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Oversee hazardous waste management, chemical safety, and industrial hygiene programs.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related scientific/technical field.
• 5+ years of progressive EHS experience within a manufacturing environment, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Professional EHS certification (e.g., Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM)).
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations and standards.
• Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and programs.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles applied to EHS processes.
• Proficiency with EHS management software platforms (e.g., Intelex, Cority, Sphera).
• Lead auditor experience for ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001.
• Multi-site EHS management experience within a manufacturing context.
